★ About Melody ★
Faerie Angelica Melody Silver, known professionally as Melody Silver, is a Jersey-born, accomplished singer-songwriter with over 15 years of experience as a vocalist. Her songwriting style is most heavily influenced by rock, pop, and folk genres. She is an independent “free thinker” who strives to be the best version of herself every day. Other than through music, Melody's ambition shines brightly through her passions for gaming, visual art, and animal rescue volunteering.

Melody's musical career was born from her adventures in musical street performing, also known as “busking”. Currently, she is the lead singer-songwriter of Cargo Bay, a live-performing hard rock band hailing from northern New Jersey that has shared the stage with artists such as Ignite The Fire, The FoxFires, and others. She is also the niece of the popular new-age/folk artist Elaine Silver.
Melody's purpose is to touch and inspire the souls of those around her through her music and performances. As such, she continues to develop her lifelong passion, aptitude, and skill in music through both collaborative and solo efforts. As part of her eternal quest to expand her overall appreciation of music, she also maintains a public Spotify music library, in which she deeply analyzes and curates songs from a wide array of artist discographies.
Since the fall of 2020, Melody has been studying Music Performance and Songwriting at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the most prestigious music institutions in the world.
🎨 Art 🎨
An exceptionally skilled independent visual artist, Melody has been creating unique and inspiring original artwork for her online gallery since 2012. Through independent studies of contemporary art forms such as digital drawing, video games, animation, comic books and photography, she developed her own creative style. She uses a wide variety of media in order to create a range of works, such as traditional art tools, photographs, sculpture/assemblage, clothing, digital/graphic art tools, hobbyist crafts, and even literature. Melody maintains that “a little bit of everything” makes for a dynamic and expressive gallery that speaks to a wider audience, and her hope is to inspire others to discover their own styles through wide and open exploration. She currently has custom pinback buttons for sale on her Artist Facebook Page.
♥︎ Volunteerism ♥︎
In 2014, Melody co-founded Kitty Krew, an e-network of animal care volunteers, animal rights activists, and pet enthusiasts that continues to serve northern New Jersey communities. In 2019, she began working with BASS Animal Rescue in Bloomingdale, New Jersey, where she assisted the kennel staff in caring for the cats and kittens that called the kennel their temporary home, before they were adopted by their new owners. A proud “cat mom” herself, Melody is deeply humbled by her continued opportunities to aid in touching the lives of her community through animal care.
